Did people like or dislike Hitler?
-He promised all unemployed workers jobs. He said that he would build public works like roads and stadiums.
-He even promised the middle class that he would restore profits of small business and the value of savings. Also Hitler promised that he would end the communist threat. Communist:a political party who believed in equal rights for all. They would give the riches of wealthy people to the poor in order to make rights equal.
- Many people supported Hitler because he told them what they wanted to hear.
- The Welmar Republic was the German government that was set up after ww1. Hitler called them all criminals for agreeing to the treaty of Versailles.
- The Welmar republic didn't know how to solve the problems of the depression, meaning any of Germany's economic issues. This is when the Nazis promised that they could solve everything.
- Hitler blamed all Germany's problems on the Jews, who were scapegoats. In the eyes of German citizens, this made total sense. People began to love Hitler for taking the blame off of all German citizens and putting the blame on other people like the Jews. Hitler united everyone by giving them explanations for Germany's loss.

- Financing the home-front and all of its citizens was not easy. In order to achieve happiness at home, Hitler robbed and murdered others.
- The citizens were too happy to overlook what was actually going on. They looked past Hitler's murderous side and focused on what they had at home, a good economy with happy people.
